Coilcraft Unveils Isolation Transformer for Single Pair Ethernet Networks

Coilcraft has introduced the ZE2531 isolation transformer, designed to provide galvanic isolation for Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) networks. It supports 10Base-T1L and Power over Data Line (PoDL), enabling the transmission of both data and power over a single twisted pair cable. This transformer is IEEE 802.3cg compliant and works with 10Base-T1L common mode chokes and power injection chokes, offering a complete solution for applications such as industrial automation, building automation, and IoT, where low-cost, long-range Ethernet is essential.
