SL Power Electronics has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by a subsidiary of Advanced Energy on April 1, 2022. SL Power Electronics and Advanced Energy will represent a strong strategic fit with complementary technologies, product portfolios and core competencies in highly engineered, application-specific power solutions for key OEMs in demanding mission-critical applications.

SL Power Electronics will join Advanced Energy to provide its customers with broader access to highly engineered, precision power conversion, measurement, and control solutions.

This transaction is expected to close within 30 days. Until the transaction is closed, SL Power Electronics and Advanced Energy will continue to operate as wholly separate companies.
