Aimtec showcases three new additions to the Eagle series, which is composed of enclosed AC-DC converters with active Power Factor Correction (PFC). The three new series have a power range from 200 W to 500 W with output voltages of 5, 12, 24, 36, 48, and 55VDC.
The new AMESP200U-277JZ, AMESP350U-277JZ, and AMESP500U-277JZ series benefit from a semi-plotted narrow fanless design and the active PFC help improve the end product power factor and power quality. These power supplies are cooled by natural air convection and heat is also dissipated through their metal body. This design reduces the noise and improves the reliability of the supply since no moving parts are present.
Additionally, it offers a wide commercial input voltage range of 85 - 305VAC, low power consumption, high reliability, and safer isolation. An operating temperature range, from -40°C to +85°C with full power up to 50°C come standard and they feature an isolation of 4000VAC with improved reliability and system safety. Finally, the new series has an operating altitude of 5000 m, a high MTBF of 300 000h, output short circuit protection (OSCP), output over-current protection (OCP), and output over-voltage protection (OVP).
These new series are great for street lighting controls, grid power, instrumentation, industrial controls, communication, and civil applications.
