Aimtec expands the new Must-HAVZ lineup of AC-DC converters covering a power range of 40 W to 90 W, characterized by brand-new orange cases. The product series has been designed to meet EN60335 (household and similar electrical appliances), EN61558 (power transformers, power supplies, reactors, and similar products), and EN62368 (information technology equipment and audio/video equipment) safety standards. This makes the Must-HAVZ ideal for grid power, industrial, home appliances, and other related applications.
The Must-HAVZ lineup can accept an input voltage of 85 - 305 VAC and provide standard 5, 9, 12, 15, 24, and 48 V output options and can achieve CISPR32 class B and ESD immunity of Contact ±6 KV, Air ±8 KV without external components. To further increase the EMC performance of the lineup, they can be paired with external circuits to achieve EFT ±2 KV/surge L-L ±4 KV immunity or EFT ±4 KV/surge L-L ±2 KV immunity.
To power the appliance control circuits, the converters come standard with 4000 - 4200 VAC of reinforced insulation, which offers enhanced protection and a no-load power consumption of 0.3 W. This increases the end product efficiency.
Due to its compact size, this new lineup offers high power densities across all power ranges. Having a small footprint and low component height allows engineers to have more flexibility when designing under space-constrained PCBAs. The dimensions of the 40 W models are 2.74 x 1.54 x 0.95”. The 60 W model offers 1.5 times the power in a 2.76 x 1.88 x 1.06” case. Finally, the 90 W options come in a slightly bigger size of 3.43 x 2.05 x 1.16”.
