Roos Instruments Launches RI8589 High Power Supply/Pulser Test Instrument Module

Roos Instruments a company based in Santa Clara, CA, that designs and manufactures automatic test equipment (ATE) for the semiconductor industry, has launched the RI8589 High Power Supply/Pulser Test Instrument Module.

The updated RI8589C High Power Supply and Pulser is an all-in-one solution that combines DC parametric measurement and high-power plus pulsed supplies into one instrument. With an additional high-power negative supply suitable for GaN testing and the ability to switch between high-power polarities without the need for re-cabling, the RI8589C makes it easy to evaluate a variety of power devices. The 10-second burst and 1 kW high-power pulse capability make it suitable for a wide range of applications, while the 8 control pins allow for the integration of external relays. To evaluate power devices for a project or perform stress testing on existing devices, the RI8589C High Power Supply and Pulser provides a versatile and comprehensive solution for VI characterization needs.

Roos Instruments has been providing precision high-speed analog, mixed-signal, RF, and mmWave ATE systems for over 30 years. The future-proof Cassini line of ATE systems has been shipping since 2007 and incorporates a fully configurable TIM-based modular architecture that can meet the needs of any IC, wafer, or module test requirement. Cassini provides the end user with maximum performance at a low cost of testing while providing the industry's fastest testing times.
