In a recent announcement on July 3, 2023, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and General Administration of Customs (GAC) disclosed their intention to implement export control measures pertaining to semiconductor raw materials associated with gallium and germanium, effective from August 1. GaN Systems, in close collaboration with its GaN-on-Silicon wafer supplier, has diligently evaluated the potential impact of these newly declared export restrictions on the production of wafers. The outcome of this assessment indicates that wafer production will not be directly affected, as there are multiple gallium sources available globally.

Consequently, GaN Systems anticipates no significant disruption in the supply of materials, thereby assuring its continued ability to furnish products to its valued customer.
