Cincon, a leading provider of power solutions, has announced the release of extended models within their CFM50S and CFM70S series, offering powerful 50W and 70W AC-DC power supplies. These new additions, denoted by the (-E/-S/-SD) suffixes, bring a range of packaging options to cater to diverse industry demands, making them particularly suitable for use in smart factories and industrial automation.

The CFM50S and CFM70S series have been developed to meet the stringent OVC III standards, providing robust and reliable power supplies for a variety of applications. These power supplies are designed to be versatile and meet safety approvals for IEC/UL/EN 62368-1, 3rd edition, as well as IEC/EN 60335-1 for household appliances.

The CFM50S and CFM70S series offer a wide range of configurations, including single outputs of 5, 12, 15, 24, 36, and 48 VDC. They are also compliant with Class I and Class II and achieve Over Voltage Category OVC II and OVC III ratings. Additionally, their EMI performance complies with both EN 55032 Class B and CISPR/FCC Class B standards.

Notable features of these power supplies include a wide universal input voltage range of 85~264 VAC and low no-load input power consumption (less than 0.15W). The CFM50S boasts high efficiency up to 89%, while the CFM70S delivers an even higher efficiency of up to 91%. Both series are designed to operate within a wide temperature range of -30°C to +80°C and are suitable for use at high altitudes, reaching up to 5000m max. They offer a total of six different packaging options, including open-frame PCB mount, open-frame wafer, enclosed cover, encapsulated PCB mount, terminal block, and din-rail.

These AC-DC power supplies are fully protected with features such as output over-current and over-voltage protection and continuous short-circuit protection, all backed by approval under IEC/UL/EN 62368-1, 3rd edition.

The versatility of the CFM50S and CFM70S series makes them ideal solutions for a wide range of industrial and ITE (Information Technology Equipment) applications, including automation equipment, test and measurement instruments, commercial equipment, and various other industrial applications. They are also well-suited for OVC III category applications, which primarily involve hard-wired equipment installed inside switch cabinets or distribution panels, such as relays, circuit breakers, and fixed-installation power supplies.
