CODACA Introduces High Current Shielded Power Inductors for Automotive Applications

CODACA, a national high-tech enterprise with a focus on developing and manufacturing magnetic components such as power inductors, has introduced CPES2722, a series of customizable power inductors that are designed to handle high amounts of current to cater to applications including PV inverters, industrial control, DC-DC converters, and high-current switching regulators. These inductors are qualified according to AEC-Q200 standards, enabling them to be used in automotive applications.

The CPEX2722 offers excellent DC bias capability to handle instantaneous peak current but is affected by a small degree due to temperature variations. It has a flat wire winding that helps in achieving very low DC resistance and is magnetically shielded to prevent electromagnetic interference degradation.

Key features

  1. Excellent DC bias capability to handle the instantaneous peak current.
  2. Flat wire winding, achieving very low DC resistance.
  3. The inductance value and DC bias characteristic are little affected by temperature.
  4. Magnetic shield structure, strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability.
  5. Compact design saves PCB mounting area.
  6. Operating temperature: -55? to +150º C (including coil heating).
  7. Target Applications: DC-DC power supply, audio, and portable energy storage power supply.

These inductors are RoHS/REACH-compliant and are rated to moisture sensitivity level 1 (MSL1).
