Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Limited has launched the AOZ1377DI Type-C Protection Switch, targeting enhanced efficiency and safety in USB Type-C applications. This advanced switch supports up to 7 A with a maximum 23 V input voltage, featuring programmable current limit and true reverse current blocking protection.

The AOZ1377DI is designed to cater to high-power applications, including multi-port Type-C PD 3.0 current source support up to 100W. Its features include an input operating voltage range of 3.4 V to 23 V, True Reverse Current Blocking (TRCB) protection, internal current-limiting, short-circuit current limit protection, and industry-leading ON resistance.
