RECOM has launched the REDIIN series of DIN-rail AC/DC power supplies at 90 V to 264 V input ranges and 120 W, 240 W, and 480 W power ratings onto the market in addition to the company’s existing range of DIN-rail DC/DC converters. These products include innovative RECOM design technologies achieving efficiency ratings of up to 93.5%. The devices are available in standard DIN-rail format at a width of 30 mm, 40 mm, or 56 mm for the 120 W, 240 W, and 480 W versions; all devices measure 123.4 mm in depth by 123.6 mm in height. The REDIIN 240 W and 480 W versions are equipped with individual outputs of 24 V and 48 VDC, and the 120 W versions also include a 12 VDC output. The output voltage is adjustable from the front panel.
Operating temperatures range between -30°C and +70°C with convection cooling, with derating from +50°C and cold starting supported down to -40°C. Protective features in the REDIIN series models include over-voltage, short-circuit, and over-current, along with a constant current mode to ensure safe starting under high capacitive loads.
Safety certifications include IEC/EN/UL/CSA62368-1 and IEC/EN/UL/CSA61010-1 while also satisfying EN55032/35 and EN61204-3 EMC standards, including EN61000-6-4 Class B for heavy industrial environments.
REDIIN series applications include power supply solutions for measuring and testing equipment as well as industrial control and automation, power generation and distribution, and data and telecommunications systems.
