Vicor Corporation announced that Vicor K.K Japan will present innovative and highly efficient power conversion approaches for EVs at the Automotive Engineering Exposition, sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE).
Vicor, which will participate in the online stage one session, uses high-density power modules to provide customers with high efficiency and peak performance power solutions for the toughest EV power challenges. Vicor partners with automakers and Tier 1 providers to design smaller, lighter power delivery networks that enable more range and an easier transition to a 48 V zonal architecture.
At the online exhibition, Seishi Tsukimoto, Senior Application Engineer at Vicor KK, will present "400 V – 800 V high-efficiency voltage conversion for electric vehicles with the latest Vicor power modules.” He will compare the various 400 V – 800 V conversion methods used by automakers today and introduce the benefits of designing a power delivery network with flexible and scalable power modules from Vicor.
