P-DUKE, a leading manufacturer of AC/DC power supplies, has expanded its lineup of SIP-8 package railway-specific DC/DC converters, now delivering up to 10 W of output power. The RDL10W series boasts a versatile 4:1 input voltage range spanning 9 - 36, 18 - 75, and 40 - 160 VDC, aligning with EN 50155 supply voltage standards. This series excels in handling transients at 1.4Un and brownouts at 0.6Un, all housed within its compact SIP-8 package, offering over a 40% reduction in space compared to DIP-16 and even more compared to DIP-24 packages.
The metal case design of the RDL10W enhances thermal dissipation in 70°C ambient temperature and extended ambient temperatures of 85°C, while also bolstering mechanical robustness for seamless installation on PCBs, meeting EN 61373 vibration and mechanical shock requirements.
With options available in single and dual-output models, the RDL10W series provides a spectrum of output voltages including 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V, ±5 V, ±12 V, and ±15 V. Engineered to thrive in harsh conditions, these converters are rigorously tested to operate effectively at altitudes up to 5000 meters and within a broad operating temperature range from -40°C to 105°C. Robust protection features ensure system security even during fault conditions.
RDL03W, RDL06W, and RDL10W, the SIP-8 railway DC/DC converter family cater not only to railway applications but also finds versatile utility across various industrial sectors. Designed with a wide input range and dependable performance, these converters are well-suited for applications such as automated driving systems, signal processing units, data recording equipment, PLCs, HMIs, DCS, and more.
