Taiwan Semiconductor has introduced a new series of small-signal MOSFETs that meet the AEC-Q101 qualification. The addition of these 10 new components expands the company’s already large and distinctive range of TQM Family MOSFETs, which comply with the AEC-Q101 global automotive standard for reliability. The new devices are available in N-MOS or P-MOS and can be configured as single- or dual-channel.
All devices are packaged according to industry standards and have a superior ESD resist capacity of over 2 KV. These compact MOSFETs are well-suited for commercial designs that demand automotive-grade levels of protection, in addition to their use in automotive applications.
The new TQM range of AEC-Q small-signal MOSFETs is commonly used in many applications such as switching circuits, high-speed line drivers, low-side load switching, relay drivers, amplification, automobile infotainment systems, and the latest driver assistance systems (ADAS). All the advanced trench-designed MOSFETs are produced in Taiwan Semiconductor’s IATF 16949-certified facilities. In addition, they conform to J-STD-020 (level 1) standards for moisture sensitivity, are devoid of halogens, comply with RoHS regulations, and can be accompanied by PPAP documentation if desired.
Taiwan Semiconductor states that the newly developed small-signal MOSFETs, which meet the AEC-Q101 qualification, are specifically intended to outperform under demanding automotive conditions, offering exceptional performance, efficiency, and durability.
