STMicroelectronics to Showcase Innovations in Wide Bandgap Semiconductors at ICSCRM 2024

STMicroelectronics is proud to announce its participation as a Gold Sponsor at the International Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials (ICSCRM) 2024. This annual scientific and industry event brings together over 1,200 delegates from academia, industry, and the public sector to present cutting-edge research and innovative solutions in SiC and other wide bandgap semiconductors.

STMicroelectronics will showcase seven live demos focusing on SiC-based boards for industrial and automotive applications. Additionally, the company will bring together 15 of its top experts to engage with attendees in two dedicated meeting rooms, offering unique opportunities for technical discussions and exchanges of ideas.

Throughout the conference, STMicroelectronics  will present key advancements in semiconductor technology via poster and oral presentations. Highlights include:

    Annalisa Cannizzaro (Sept 29, 8:00 AM): Poster presentation on wafer edge, bevel, and apex defect characterization using inline SEMVision G3MAXFIB.

    Nicolo Piluso & Melissa Scalisi (Sept 30, 4:15 PM): Poster presentations on SiC MOSFET manufacturing yield improvements and low-temperature photoluminescence characterization of 4H-SiC epilayers.

    Mario Saggio (Sept 30, 6:00 PM): Industrial presentation on SiC technologies in high-volume industrial environments.

    Gabriele Bellocchi (Oct 1, 3:45 PM): Oral presentation on improvements in substrate resistance for SiC diodes.

    Brunella Cafra (Oct 2, 4:30 PM): Poster presentation analyzing the mechanical properties of 4H-SiC 6-inch wafers using nanoindentation.

    Cristiano Calabretta (Oct 4, 10:10 AM): Oral presentation on orientation and growth insights of 150 mm GaN on SiC for HEMT.

Attendees will also have access to STMicroelectronics' demo stations, where they can explore the company's latest SiC-based technologies, including its STPOWER automotive and industrial solutions.
