MEAN WELL is excited to announce the launch of its enhanced CSP-3000 series, a 3 kW enclosed type DC high-voltage output power supply designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern industries. Available in three voltage ranges—120 VDC, 250 VDC, and 400 VDC—the CSP-3000 series supports both constant voltage and constant current output modes, offering extensive voltage and current adjustment capabilities (PV/PC).
This upgrade introduces an isolated circuit design for the PV/PC adjustment function, ensuring enhanced operational safety and flexibility in various applications, effective from July 2024. The series is particularly suited for high-voltage DC power supply systems, new energy sectors, EV charging stations, semiconductor equipment, and laser systems.
Key Features of the CSP-3000 Series:
- Isolation Design: The PV/PC circuit is now isolated from both input and output terminals.
- Parallel Operation: The CSP-3000 series supports parallel operation in constant current mode, allowing PC adjustment in such configurations.
Application Case Studies:
- Automated Testing and Sorting for Solar Cells:
- The system utilizes five CSP-3000-400 constant current drivers to power LED light source arrays, simulating sunlight for photovoltaic device testing. Each LED operates at 400 VDC/2000 W, with light intensity precisely controlled via PC voltage signals.
- DC High-Voltage Centralized Power Supply for Tunnel Lighting:
- A 7.5 kW high-voltage lamp at the tunnel entrance is powered by three CSP-3000-230 units in parallel. The system features synchronized dimming, controlled by PC voltage signals, to meet the high illumination requirements.
