Skyworks Solutions features the Si823H4AB-IS1, an automotive-qualified symmetric gate driver designed to support high-power applications. This innovative component combines two isolated gate drivers in a single package, enhancing performance with its 125 kV/µs transient immunity and low propagation delays of just 30 nanoseconds, ensuring improved timing margins.
With a symmetric drive strength of 4.0 A, the Si823H4AB-IS1 offers both sink and source capabilities and incorporates a drive boost circuit to facilitate faster FET turn-on. The driver is built to perform reliably across a broad operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
Key safety features include dead time programmability, driver-side under-voltage lockout (UVLO) options, and over-temperature protection. Additionally, its compact design provides isolation ratings of up to 2.5 kVrms. The Si823H4AB-IS1 is available in a high-side/low-side configuration, making it a versatile solution for automotive and industrial applications.
