
Cincon has announced the launch of its latest ECB40W18-ECRT/EDRT series, a 16:1 ultra-wide input range chassis-mount DC-DC converter delivering 40 W of regulated power. Measuring 5.63 x 2.56 inches (143 x 65 mm), this compact module is designed to meet the stringent requirements of railway and industrial applications.
Key features include IEC/UL 62368-1 3rd edition safety approvals, 3000 Vac isolation, and support for EN 50155 standards, ensuring reliability in railway systems. It also meets Shock & Vibration (EN 61373) and Fire & Smoke (EN 45545-2) standards, making it an ideal solution for demanding environments.

The ECB40W18-ECRT/EDRT series also offers full protection against reverse polarity, under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature, and continuous short circuits. It passes voltage supply interruption (Class S3) and voltage change-over (Class C2) requirements without the need for external capacitors, featuring a 30ms holdup time.
