MEAN WELL has announced the launch of its 40 W DC-DC converters, the SKMW40 (single output) and DKMW40 (dual output) series, following positive market feedback on its 1" x 1" 6 W, 15 W, 20 W, and 30 W wide input range converters.
The key features of SKMW40 and DKMW40 series are standardized pins and compact size that provide a better power solution for terminal equipment with limited volume, 4:1 (9~36 Vdc/18~75 Vdc) ultra-wide input range, ultra-wide operating temperature (-40~+80°C), 2000Vdc input-output isolation, full protections, the internal silicone gel potting would not only help dissipate heat and extend its lifetime but also has dust/moisture-proofs and anti-vibration capabilities. These features make these converters suitable for installation in electrical panels, telecommunication equipment, industrial automation, distributed power architecture, and transportation applications.
