MCC Unveils 3.3 V and 5 V ESD Diodes with Snapback Technology

MCC has introduced super-low capacitance 3.3 V and 5 V ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) diodes designed with snapback technology and a high-power transient voltage suppressor (TVS). With a clamping voltage of 5 V and a surge handling capability of 13 A (8/20µs), the newly launched ESDSBSLC3V3LT and ESDSBSLC5V0LT are engineered to provide the highest levels of protection and reliability.

With a capacitance of only 1.0 pF or 0.65 pF (typically), these diodes shield sensitive dual signal lines from harmful voltage spikes and electrostatic discharge. Both components meet stringent IEC-6100-4-2 standards with outstanding immunity ratings of ±30 kV for both air and contact discharge and strong lightning protection (IEC 61000-4-5), guaranteeing robust performance in harsh conditions.

From industrial equipment and communication systems to consumer electronics, MCC’s super-low capacitance dual-line ESD diodes deliver confidence and stability in diverse applications.

Key features of ESDSBSLC3V3LT and ESDSBSLC5V0LT:
