Panasonic brings in the new SVPG OS-CON capacitors to its product offering. They utilize aluminum and a highly conductive polymer material to offer low ESR, excellent noise reduction and ripple current capabilities. These capacitors utilize aluminum and a high-conductivity polymer material to offer low ESR, excellent noise reduction, and ripple current capabilities. Since the electrolyte is solid, OS-CON parts are characterized by a long life span and minimal changes in ESR throughout the entire rated temperature range, even at low temperatures.
The new SVPG Series parts have achieved low ESR/high ripple current by improving the polymer technology, realizing a ripple current an average of 1.37 times increase compared to competitors in the conductive polymer aluminum solid capacitors category. These new parts can meet the demands of enhanced power supply circuits as well as the demands for withstanding high voltages and higher ripple currents in servers and base stations.
