Diodes Unveils Automotive-Grade CMOS LDO Regulator

Diodes Incorporated has introduced AP7347EQ, an automotive-grade low dropout (LDO) regulator that produces a regulated output with a stable output current of 500 mA, while maintaining low power consumption and excellent line- and load-transient response. This LDO is developed based on the CMOS process and is designed to achieve high output voltage accuracy of ±1%, low drain source on-resistance, high PSRR, low output noise of 60 µV (RMS) from 10 Hz to 100 kHz, and low quiescent current. It requires an input voltage of 1.7-5.5 V and provides multiple output voltage options – 1 V, 1.05 V, 1.1 V, 1.15 V, 1.2 V, 1.5 V, 1.7 V, 1.8 V, 2.2 V, 2.5 V, 2.8 V, 2.9 V, 3.0 V, 3.3 V, and 5.0 V (fixed and adjustable over the entire range).

This AEC-Q100-qualified LDO regulator includes a voltage reference, error amplifier, current-limit circuit, and an enable input to turn it on and off. With an integrated resistor network, a fixed output-voltage version and an adjustable output-voltage version can be delivered. The AP7347EQ also has a power-good indicator.
