ROHM Unveils 20 V Half-Bridge Motor Driver IC

ROHM Semiconductor has announced the launch of the BD60210FV, an advanced addition to its motor/actuator driver portfolio. The BD60210FV is a built-in 2 H bridge motor driver for two DC brush motors, one bipolar stepper motor, or four solenoid loads. This driver can drive high-efficiency through direct PWM control. It is possible to output an abnormal detection signal for Wired-OR that notifies each protection circuit operation, which contributes to setting high reliability. It is available in a surface-mount SSOP-B16 package that measures 5.0 mm x 6.4 mm x 1.35 mm and is ideal for refrigerators, air conditioners, printers, and other common office appliances.
