The FC4000 Series from Advanced Energy are Isolated AC-DC Power Supply Systems that convert an AC input voltage of 120-264 V to a DC output voltage of 0-1000 V. They deliver an output power of up to 4000 W (capacitor charger) and 800 W (AC-DC power supply). These converters have a built-in configurable AC-DC power supply that is designed to fulfill the system power needs for medical laser applications. They can support both capacitor charging and AC-DC low voltage system power due to their unique design and intelligent power control. These power systems can either be used as a standalone capacitor charger or integrate additional low-voltage modules to deliver enhanced system power, resulting in greater flexibility to power other systems and applications.  

These WEEE-compliant configurable power systems include a PMBus interface, which can be used for both analog and digital control. They are equipped with remote sensing, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, and over-temperature protection circuitries that ensure critical monitoring and safety to prevent electrical damage. These RoHS-compliant power supplies also include capacitive loads to provide smoothness and stability to the output signal. They are available in modules that measure 348 x 153 x 132 mm and are ideal for medical applications.
