The iHP Series from Advanced Energy are Modular AC-DC Power Systems that convert an AC input voltage of 180-264 V/342-528 V/432-528 V/540-660 V (single or three-phase) to a DC output voltage of 0.6-360 V. They deliver an output power of up to 30 kW and have an efficiency of less than 94.8%. These AC-DC converters are designed to provide high accuracy, resolution, and stability as either programmable (in series or parallel configurations) voltage or current sources. They can be configured to deliver up to 8 outputs using a variety of plug-in modules that offer a wide range of voltage and current values. These power systems accept 3 kW single-slot modules that can be connected together in the 8-slot racks to deliver a total output power of up to 30 kW. They can also be configured to provide up to 4 outputs in the 4-slot racks, thereby delivering a total output power of 15 kW.
These high-power systems offer analog or digital interfaces for the developers to support standard communication protocols. They are equipped with a software GUI for easy configuration and user dashboard creation, and allows firmware to be upgraded directly in the field. These AC-DC converters also provide a detailed scheduling and control software for horticulture customers. They are provided with medical/industrial (SEMI F47) approvals to ensure safety. These power systems have built-in air cooling mechanism to maintain the internal temperature. They are available in configurable rack-mount enclosures that measure 27.8 x 17.6 x 5.22 inches.
