The BPSX 0.5-08-00 from Cita Technologies is an Isolated AC-DC Converter that steps down an AC input voltage of 85 - 265 V to a DC output voltage of 8 V. It delivers an output power of 0.5 W and has an efficiency of 70%. This AC-DC converter is based on a patented SMPS technology that offers a silent mode operation with ultra-low standby power and ensures no power de-rating across the entire operation temperature range. It provides switching synchronization for only 10% of the time and hence, very little electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) interference exists with other circuits.
