The UMA120F Series from Cosel are Medical-Grade, Isolated AC-DC Converters that step down an AC input voltage of 85-264 V to a DC output voltage of 12-48 V. They deliver an output power of up to 120 W. These converters are designed to offer a cost-effective solution for medical electric equipment. They consist of an inrush current limiter, a noise filter, rectifiers and filters, control, inverter, current sensing, a transformer, and protection circuitries. These step-down converters support power factor correction for reduced power consumption and cost. They comply with medical isolation grade 2MOPP standard and provide an input-to-output isolation of 4 kV for 1 minute.

These RoHS-compliant converters also comply with electromagnetic interference (EMI) safety standards such as CISPR11-B, EN55011-B, and EN55032-B for high reliability. They support convection-based cooling mechanism within the housings and are available in chassis-mount packages that measure 50.8 x 29.0 x 101.6 mm.
