The MPF42790DRT-0B-0000-Z from Monolithic Power Systems is a Battery Pack Fuel Gauge IC that has been designed to provide comprehensive status information on Lithium-ion battery strings stacking between 2 to 16 series cells. It requires an input voltage of 3 - 3.6 V. This battery management IC estimates the internal state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH) of each cell and pack (containing multiple cells).
