The A7542E6VR from AiT Semiconductor is an Asynchronous Boost DC-DC Converter that requires an input voltage of 2.5 - 5.5 V. It provides a switching frequency of 1 MHz and has an efficiency of up to 92%. This converter provides a switch current of up to 3 A and has low on-resistance. It uses a constant frequency peak current mode and requires an external Schottky diode.  This converter operates at light mode with a supply current of 100 µA. It also operates in shutdown mode with a supply current of less than 1 µA together with the 130 milli-ohms internal NMOS power transistor guaranteeing high efficiency in the whole output load current range. This converter is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3.02 x 1.70 x 1.25 mm and is ideal for WLED drivers and networking cards powered by PCI or PCI-express slot applications.
