The RH5210 from Mercury Systems is a Radiation Hardened DC-DC Converter that is specifically designed for radiation-sensitive applications and platforms such as satellites and launch vehicles, remote-controlled robotic devices, mission-critical computing systems, and any electronic system with the potential for radiation exposure. It consists of 8 integrated rad-tolerant switching regulators and 3 LDO regulators. The converter is based on Xilinx’s radiation-tolerant FPGA XQRKU060 and is an ideal solution for SwaP-focussed applications. It is available as a die that measures 51 x 63 mm.
