The SA50-28-3R3S from Microchip Technology is a Radiation-Hardened Isolated Buck DC-DC Converter that converts an input voltage of 20 - 40 V to an output voltage of 3.3 V. It delivers an output power of up to 33 W and has an efficiency of 79%. This converter provides a radiation-hardened option for top-class total ionizing dose (TID) and single event effects (SEE) performance with a TID of over 100 krad (Si) and SEE (SEGR, SEB, SET, and SEL) immunity of 82 MeV.cm2/mg to cater to space and military applications.
