The MYC0409 from Murata is a Non-Isolated DC to DC converter that steps down an input voltage of 20-60 V to a DC output voltage of 5-15 V. This buck converter is capable of delivering an output power of 72 W with an efficiency of up to 96.5% and has a continuous output current of up to 6 A. It can improve efficiency by minimizing the parasitic resistance and has an open-drain power to provide good output.  The converter can be used in a system without loop compensation and is integrated with over-current and over-temperature protection circuits to assist during abnormal conditions.

The MYC0409 is available in a surface-mount package that measures 11.5 × 9.5 × 2.0 mm and is ideal for data centers/servers, networking equipment, base stations, optical equipment, test equipment, and LED signage applications.
