The BM2P153WF-E2 from ROHM Semiconductor is a Non-Isolated DC-DC Converter that requires an input voltage of 12-16.2 V. It provides an optimum system for all products that include an electrical outlet. This converter includes a built-in start-up circuit that can withstand an input voltage of up to 730 V for low-power consumption and a 730 V super-junction MOSFET that enables simpler designs. It utilizes a pulse width modulation (PWM)--based current mode mechanism which allows the current to be restricted during each cycle, thereby achieving excellent bandwidth and transient response.  

This DC-DC converter supports an on-chip frequency hopping function with a frequency hopping width of 4 kHz that results in low electromagnetic interference (EMI). It is equipped with under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-voltage protection (OVP), and over-current protection (OCP) (per cycle) for safety and reliability. This RoHS-compliant converter is available in a surface-mount package that measures 5 x 6.2 x 1.71 mm and is ideal for LED lights, air-conditioners, and household cleaning applications.
