The MCOTS-C-270-40-HE from SynQor is a Military COTS Half-Brick DC-DC Converter that converts an input voltage of 155 - 425 V to an output voltage of 10 - 40 V. It delivers an output power of up to 600 W and has an efficiency of 93%. This converter has been designed with an MCOTS filter and complies with a wide range of military standards such as MIL-HDBK-704 (A) and MIL-STD-461 (C, D, E, and F). It uses a two-stage power conversion topology where the first stage is a bus converter that provides input/output isolation and voltage step down. The second stage of this converter consists of an integrated buck and boost converter that regulates the output voltage over variations in line, load, and temperature.
