The FS1412 from TDK Corporation is a DC to DC Converter that steps down a DC input voltage of 4.5-16 V to a DC output voltage of 0.6-1.8 V. This buck converter is integrated with an inductor, capacitor, PWM controller, MOSFETs, and digital power system management. It delivers an output current of up to 12 A and can be controlled via I2C and PMBus interfaces. This step-down converter has in-built soft-start protection, over-voltage protection, thermally compensated over-current protection with hiccup mode, and thermal shut-down with auto-recovery features.
