The APSX2012SW from Eaton is a Pure Sine-Wave DC-AC Inverter/Charger that converts a DC input voltage of 12 V to an AC output voltage of 230 V. It delivers a peak output power of 4000 W. This inverter acts as a reliable power source for a wide variety of power tools, computers, audio/video components, and other sensitive electronic systems. It includes an automatic line-to-battery transfer switch and a charging system, allowing the unit to work as a vehicle inverter, standalone AC power source, or an extended-run UPS. This DC-AC inverter/charger can be hardwired to an external 230 V AC source to keep the user-supplied battery charged via a three-stage 6-60 A selectable charging system while simultaneously delivering AC power to the connected equipment. It does not generate fumes, fuel, or excess noise, thereby offering an excellent alternative to generator power.


This inverter/charger consists of an automatic over-load detector, a multi-speed cooling fan, and resettable AC circuit breakers to protect the unit from damage. It also responds to blackouts and brownouts via an automatic, instantaneous transfer to a battery-derived AC output port. This DC-AC inverter has LED indicators on the unit to indicate battery voltage, charging, and inverter status. It is available in a module that measures 7.500 x 9.000 x 22.500 inches and is ideal for mobile, emergency, and remote site applications.
