The 12/500 from Victron Energy is a Pure Sine Wave DC-AC Inverter that converts a DC input voltage of 12 V to an AC output voltage of 230 V. It delivers a continuous output power of 500 VA and a peak output power of 900 W. This inverter can be connected to digital devices through a USB cable or using a Bluetooth Smart Dongle. It has a full bridge plus toroidal transformer topology and includes short circuits, over-heating, and over-temperature protection to ensure greater reliability. This inverter provides high start-up power for larger loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps, or electric tools. It offers low battery voltage alarm trip and reset levels for enhanced low voltage protection. This power inverter has 2 operational modes - ECO mode on/off and ECO mode sense level. It switches to standby mode on decreasing the load below a preset value and remains on increasing the load while working in ECO mode. This inverter has a remote on/off switch that can be connected to a two-pole connector, or between battery plus and the left-hand contact of the two-pole connector.
