The DB6 from DC COMPONENTS is a Glass-Passivated DIAC that has been designed for use in thyristor phase-control circuits for lamp dimming, universal-motor speed control, and heat control applications. It has a break-over voltage of 60 V and a break-over current of less than 100 µA. This DIAC has a low break-over current at the break-over voltage and is suitable for triggering thyristors. It is available in a through-hole package that measures 45 x 2 mm.
