The DLDB4 from DC COMPONENTS is a Diac that is ideal for use in thyristor phase-control circuits for lamp dimming, universal motor speed control, and heat control applications. It has a break-over voltage of 35 - 45 V and a break-over current of less than 100 µA. This Diac includes a three-layer glass-passivated structure for triggering thyristors. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3.6 x 1.5 mm.
