The LLDB3 from JGD Semiconductor is a Silicon Bidirectional Trigger Diode that is ideal for thyristor phase control circuits for lamp dimming, universal motor speed control, and heat control applications. It has a break-over voltage of over 28 V and a break-over current of less than 50 µA. This diac has a power dissipation of 150 mW. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 1.40 x 3.40 mm.
