The eS9000r from Dana TM4 is an Electric Drive Axle that has been designed for Class 4, 5, and 6 vehicle applications (van, truck, and bus). It delivers a peak output power of 237 kW. This e-Drive axle provides a torque of up to 9000 Nm and has a speed of less than 75 mph. It requires a supply voltage of 400 - 650 V (AC). This e-axle is based on the S110, S111, and S130 drive axle models and acts as a drop-in replacement to existing suspensions. It consists of a motor, transmission, and an axle power system. It has an electronically-controlled park feature for accurate and easy vehicle parking and uses a water glycol-cooled motor and inverter system that offers temperature-stable operation. It is ideal for medium-duty trucks and bus applications.
