The 12s27p POWER-MODULE from ElringKlinger AG is a Cylindrical Cell Lithium-ion Battery Module. This battery provides an energy of 5.25 kWh and has a capacity of 121.5 Ah. It has a cycle life of 1000 cycles and weighs 29.8 kg (filled with oil). This battery has a maximum continuous charging current of 500 / 4.1 C and a maximum continuous discharge current of 600 / 4.9 C. It can be connected in series up to an integrated system voltage of 1,000 V and provides a power of 1 MW. This battery can also be connected in parallel to increase the capacity. It incorporates a wireless cell monitoring board (wCMB) and a conductivity sensor. This battery has an inherent rigid structure avoiding the need for a support frame. It is available as a module (with laser welded plastic frame and cover) that measures 682 x 260 x 98 mm and is ideal for electric vehicle applications.
