The OFFSET EDU from Hofer Powertrain is an Electric Drive Unit designed for smooth integration into various vehicle platforms. It delivers a continuous output power of 149 kW and a peak output power of 307 kW. This motor provides a torque of up to 1339 Nm and has a speed of 2100 rpm. It integrates a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), power electronics, and an optional two-speed transmission. This EV traction motor allows for precise adjustment of torque and speed with an optional two-speed transmission design. It offers an optional parking lock feature and utilizes silicon carbide (SiC) inverter technology. This motor weighs 80 kg and measures 114 mm in length.
