The AF230 from Turntide Technologies is an Axial Flux Motor that has been designed to provide huge gains in power and torque density for space and weight-constrained applications compared to radial flux legacy motors. It delivers a continuous output power of 128 kW, a peak output power of 280 kW, and has an efficiency of over 95%. This motor provides a torque of 290 Nm and has a speed of up to 8000 rpm. It has a compact design characterized by a short motor length with a flat front and back face that facilitates seamless integration. This motor ensures low cogging and ripple torque that results in smooth and quiet operation for direct drive applications. It also has a low inertia composite rotor with excellent dynamic stability and an integrated PT100 winding temperature sensor for monitoring.  

This axial flux motor supports liquid cooling using water/glycol for enhanced thermal performance. It is available in an enclosure (with optional IP67-rated shaft seals) that measures 344 x 212 x 300 mm.
