The 1EDI3025AS from Infineon Technologies is an Automotive-Qualified Single-Channel Isolated IGBT Driver that is ideal for traction inverters and auxiliary inverters in hybrid/electric vehicle applications. It requires an input voltage of 3-5.5 V (primary) and 15 V (secondary). This AEC-Q100-qualified driver consists of primary and secondary logic, an input stage, power supplies, an output stage, a 12-bit A/D converter, and protection circuitries. It utilizes a coreless transformer technology that provides galvanic insulation of 8 kV between the low and high-voltage domains. This IGBT driver has an integrated booster that provides a rail-to-rail peak output current of up to 20 A and has an active Miller clamp circuit that supports unipolar power supply delivering an output current of up to 10 A. It offers a propagation delay of 60 ns and has a pulse width of 150 ns that supports high switching frequency with minimum distortion of the pulse width modulation (PWM) signal. 

This isolated IGBT driver has a 12-bit ADC for high-resolution temperature measurements or DC-link measurements and a data interface that provides detailed error diagnosis through a PWM signal. It includes a large panel of integrated safety-related functions that simplify the design of ASIL D-compliant systems.
