The TDGD274 from Teledyne e2v HiRel Electronics is a Dual-Channel Isolated Gate Driver IC that is ideal for power supplies, battery management systems, DC-DC converters, inverters, and motor control applications. It requires an input voltage of 2.5 - 5.5 V and an input current of 10 mA.  This gate driver features PWM input configuration and provides high dV/dt immunity. It offers separate pull-up/down outputs for slew rate control and has a very low jitter. This gate driver utilizes a proprietary silicon isolation technology that has a voltage rating of up to 2.5 kV (RMS) and a fast propagation time of 60 ns. It benefits from common-mode transient immunity (CMTI), tight timing specifications, reduced variation with temperature and age, better part-to-part matching, and extremely high reliability.


This gate driver possesses features such as high integration, low propagation delay, small installed size, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. It includes driver shutdown on under-voltage lockout (UVLO) fault, and precise dead-time programmability. This gate driver has driver outputs that can be grounded to the same or separate grounds or connected to a positive or negative voltage providing flexibility in design. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 5 x 4 x 1.55 mm.
