The SM4000 from Diotec Semiconductor is a Recovery Rectifier Diode that is ideal for 50/60 Hz mains rectification, high voltage power supplies, smart electricity meters, lighting systems and 4G/5G base stations. It has a forward voltage of less than 2.5 V and a forward current of 1 A. This diode has a reverse voltage of up to 4000 V and a reverse current of less than 5 µA. It offers high power dissipation, board space saving and replaces series connections. This RoHS-compliant power diode is available in a surface-mount package that measures 2.5 x 5 mm.
