The TPSMB Series from Littelfuse is an Automotive-Qualified TVS Diodes that are designed to safeguard sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients caused by lightning and other transient voltage events. These diodes have a breakdown voltage rating between 16.7-24.5 V and a maximum reverse current of less than 1 µA. These AEC-Q101-qualified diodes have a maximum clamping voltage of 24.4-32.4 V and provide over-current and over-voltage protection. They undergo rigorous whisker testing based on JEDEC JESD201A standards and follow ESD protection of data lines in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2 standards.  

These RoHS-compliant TVS diodes are built with a glass-passivated chip junction that delivers fast response times under 1 ns and offers excellent clamping capability with low incremental surge resistance. They are available in a surface-mount packages that measures 4.570 x 3.940 mm and are ideal for gate driver protection of SiC MOSFETs, onboard chargers (OBC), and traction inverter applications.
