The MPQ79500FS from Monolithic Power Systems is an Automotive Qualified 6-Channel Voltage Monitoring IC that is engineered to ensure safe operation in automotive vehicles. This voltage monitoring IC has an input voltage of 2.7 V to 5.5 V. It consists of four single-ended and two differential remote voltage sensing inputs where each input has a programmable over-voltage and under-voltage (OV/UV) thresholds that provide high accuracy for both high frequency (HF) and low frequency (LF) voltage monitoring. This voltage monitoring IC has a selectable low power mode (LPM) operation that results in an extremely low quiescent current. It can conduct recordings of power-sequencing timestamps such as power-up/down and sleep entry/exit features. This IC utilizes the Sync I/O function that enables multi-device sequence synchronization and tagging.
The MPQ79500FS integrates sophisticated functional safety features including built-in self-test (BIST), and diagnostic and write protection to support applications with a high automotive safety integrity level up to ASIL-D standards. This AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified IC is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3 x 3 mm with wettable flanks and is ideal for sensor modules, autonomous driving SoC platforms, and Automotive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) applications.
