The ACT88760-101T from Qorvo is a Power Management IC that is designed to power a wide range of processors including video processors, FPGAs, wearables, peripherals, and microcontrollers. It requires an input voltage of 2.7 - 5.5 V. This power management IC (PMIC) is highly flexible and can be reconfigured for output voltage, startup time, slew rate, system level sequencing, switching frequency, sleep modes, and operating modes via I2C interface for multiple applications, without requiring any PCB changes. It integrates seven high-efficiency switching regulators, six linear regulators, and eleven GPIOs. This PMIC is designed to work with a single lithium-ion or lithium polymer batteries. It features integrated sequencing and integrated constant current LED sinks for space saving.
This PMIC supports configurable sequencing, multiple wake-up triggers with GPIOs, seamless sequencing of external supplies, and 11 programmable GPIOs for easy system-level design. It benefits from configurable features such as µP interface for status reporting and controllability, programmable reset, power good GPIO’s, flexible sequencing options, and multiple sleep modes. This PMIC is available in a surface-mount package that measures 3.85 x 3.85 mm and is ideal for core supply voltage, computer vision, AR / VR, portable devices, and connected home applications.
