The TP-POE-HP-48GD from Tycon Systems is a Power-Over-Ethernet Injector that is ideal for wireless access points, client devices, IP phones, and security camera applications. It requires an input voltage (AC) of 90 - 264 V and provides an output voltage (DC) of 56 V with a load regulation of up to 5%. This injector accepts data-in from a shielded RJ45 Ethernet port and provides the surge-protected data-out and power on the shielded RJ45 Ethernet output port. It can be used to power any remotely located PoE-enabled device via the unused Ethernet pins 4 and 5 (V+) and 7 and 8 (V-). This power-over-ethernet (POE) injector can  power remote devices over distances of up to 100 m (328 feet) using the CAT5 cables. It supports 802.3af and 802.3at communication protocols and incorporates various protections for surge, short circuit, over-load, and over-voltage conditions. It is available in a module that measures 125 x 75 x 38 mm.
